Matthew Swallow Joins International Committee for WMM'26 in Beijing

We’re proud to announce that Matthew Swallow, Technical Product Manager at Magnet Applications, a division of Bunting, has been appointed to the International Committee for WMM’26—the 12th International Conference on Magnetism and Metallurgy—taking place June 16–18, 2026, in Beijing, China.

A respected authority in the magnetics industry and former Chair of the UK Magnetics Society, Matthew was personally invited by Organizing Chair Stefano Fortunati to help shape the direction of this prestigious global event.

About WMM'26 – Beijing, China

Established in 2004 by the Institute of Metal Forming at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, the WMM conference is a premier international forum for cross-disciplinary exchange in magnetism, metallurgy, and materials science. WMM’26 marks the first time the event will be hosted in Beijing—a global epicenter for rare earth research and innovation.
