RoHS

In February 2003, the European Union issued Directive 2002/95-EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances (RoHS). From June 30, 2008, this was updated to ban the use of Deca BDE.

The following product types do not exceed the limits stated in the above directive:

NdFeB magnets

  • Bonded up to 10 MGOe; Compression, Injection molded and Flexible; Epoxy and Parylene coated
  • Sintered; Nickel, Zinc and Epoxy coated

SmCo magnets

  • Sintered

Alnico magnets

  • Cast and Sintered

Ferrite/Ceramic magnets

  • Injection molded, Sintered and Flexible

Catches and miscellaneous holding magnets

  • European supplied

Adhesives

  • All used in domestic production
