However in order to provide scoping on possible magnet sizes and geometries we have made available an easy to follow program which can be downloaded by visitors to this site. It covers a range of standard materials and geometries including pole piece arrangements and can determine the field around a particular magnet - even across an airgap, or conversely the size of a magnet to fulfill a determined field requirement.
This should be used as the first step or iteration prior to completing a full design exercise.
